Part 23. On Highway for South Goa

 When I started reading the map, at first I did not understand where to start and asked where my love wants to go. She said with a sweet smile that wherever you are, I am with you. 

With such a confident answer, it seemed like a travel map had been prepared in my head.

 After driving a few kilometers on the road to the other side of the hotel, this only road was supposed to connect us to the highway, which will connect us to the south via a bridge. 

So, we started driving along the road along the hotel, on one side of which was the temple of Lord Ganesha, and on the other - our restaurant, where we had dinner for the first time. 

After walking some distance, we saw the first gas station in the area, where we had enough gasoline for 3 days, and again moved along the same path.

 I looked ahead and my love looked at me. Looking at her, it seemed that my goal was sitting next to me, but my main goal was to guide her through the most beautiful places in Goa.

 I shifted the gear and took her hand. It seemed that the weather was on our side, because the dark clouds and cold wind made our excursion even more pleasant and beautiful. 

There was a village on both sides of the road between our hotel and the highway, and traffic on the road was limited. Some distance in front of the highway there was a fish market with an unbearable smell. 

   

   This road ran along the banks of the river, along which small boats also floated. After passing a small village, I thought it was appropriate to drive at high speed, and from there we soon drove onto a four-lane highway, where our car also felt good. 

           At first I decided to use the navigator, but an idea occurred in my head: if we stop and ask the locals how to get there, then my beloved girl will be able to get to know the people of Goa better, hear their dialect, see their wonderful smiles and kind hearts.

      I turned off our navigator, which gave me more confidence while driving. We quickly moved forward, observing the wonderful nature of the state with its lush jungle, fast rivers, high hills, and our hearts were in awe of all this splendor and wealth of Goa.
