When we went inside and saw the temple, it itself radiated its mystery and grandeur, from which we felt a sense of pleasant excitement.
The structure of the temple was both old and new because the courtyard was very old and the sanctuary of the temple had not been built for a long time. Together they gave the temple an enormous size.
The wall on the left side of the temple was very high, and large trees were located along with it as if giving coolness to the temple. I came to the courtyard with my beloved and received darshan of Lord Shiva, and my love prayed with me, crossing her arms.
The priest of the temple wore red dhoti and janeu on his body. He applied tilak on our forehead and gave us God's prasad.. My love very carefully took prasadam and began to look at the idol of Lord Shiva in a completely different form.
After a while, we both left there, and at some distance from the temple, a staircase led up to the facade, which led us to the Arvalam waterfall. We both began to slowly climb up the stairs, which were wet from the waterfall. Finally, we reached the end of the stairs, where a small observation deck was constructed.
Before us was a delightful view of the falling water, leading to delight. The waterfall was not quite wide, but high enough to feel the full power of this amazing nature.
At the foot of the cliff, from which the water flowed powerfully, there was a small lake in which people bathed, and some sat on the rocky shore and enjoyed the beauty. I hugged my love and took some memorable photos of the waterfall.
Having gained strength and energy from water, we went downstairs and crossed to the other side of the temple, where people were burned after death. The peculiarity of this temple was that the image of Rudreshwar was located right in front of the waterfall, which made this place beautiful.
The second feature was that the Mahashivratri festival gathered a large number of people in this place. I was lucky that my beloved girl gradually began to discover my culture and religion, which she studied with interest.
